The mornings are cooling off and the leaves starting to change colours, and it can only mean one thing. Fall is upon us! Fall starts early at Bose Farms with their Corn Maze now open through October 14th. This family favourite is back with both day and nighttime experiences to get all those fuzzy Fall feelings heading into overdrive.
Each year since 1999 Bose Farms’ maze has a design based upon local and national celebrations in their ever-popular corn maze that’s visible from the sky. Past maze designs include the Grey Cup logo and the Canada 150 logo in 2017 when Canada celebrated 150 years of confederation. This year’s design honours the leaders, youth, and now children of past scouts with the logo of Scouts Canada carved into the maze! In order to make your way through this 17-acre maze, clues are strategically placed in order to point you in the right direction towards the finish line. The two-part maze takes about an hour or so to navigate. Bring your flashlights for a nighttime maze experience ending at a fire pit with free marshmallows to roast, it’s guaranteed to be a blast for all ages! The maze is open rain or shine, so pack your rain-boots!
Every weekend throughout the month of October you can also enjoy picking out your very own pumpkin in the pumpkin patch and as a reward for all your hard work, or enjoy a hay-bale tractor ride. A variety of other produce is also available in their market area, as well as hot buttered corn at the maze concession stand weekend afternoons.
Check out the Bose Farms Corn Maze website for details on how to get discounted admission, and for a full list of opening hours.
