There’s a marina-themed playground, state of the art 8-Phaser laser tag arena, an indoor rock-climbing wall, video game arcade and games are. There’s even bumper car rides. The kids will be busy for hours with the many activities available.
Grab a bite and stay a while at Milestones Grill & Bar (3085 152 Street). Milestones started in Vancouver twenty-five years ago and has quickly expanded across multiple provinces with their menu full of tasty classics and warm atmosphere. They’re familiar and friendly, with a cutting-edge to keep you coming back for more.
With a playground, basketball courts, large fields and some walking trails, Maple Green Park (8959 150 Street) has it all. This is a large neighbourhood park located in Northwest Fleetwood, and is quite popular in during the summer months. Bring the kids and enjoy a picnic, a game of soccer, or just let them run and play.
Daisee’s Bakeshop (103 – 16055 Fraser Highway) is a small, family-owned Filipino bake shop with loads of goodies available. They carry a variety of sweets, from adorable cupcakes, to the famous Ube cake which is slowly blowing up on social media due to its vibrant purple colour. Be sure to stop by and try the delicacies; it’ll be hard to leave without doing so.
