If you’ve ever thought to yourself: ‘I wish I had brought my camera!’ or gone to great lengths to take a photo at that perfect angle, then you’ll definitely want to keep reading.
Surrey may have been known as the city of parks, but did you know that we’ve got one of the most beautiful beaches around? (We may be just a little bit biased.) We want to share the beauty of Crescent Beach with the rest of this great province, and that’s why we’re hosting our second Instameet, a campaign pioneered by Destination BC! With the help of Brent Irving, Surrey local, expert at capturing sunsets at Crescent Beach, and the man behind the Instagram handle @goodkarmaguy, we’re going to capture some absolutely stunning photographs! Where do you come in? We want you to help us capture the beauty of Surrey’s beach-front paradise! From beautiful sunsets to nature and wildlife, great food and historic sites, there’s a lot to love about Crescent Beach, so join us as we explore the quaint neighbourhood.. Details are as follows:
Where: Meet at the foot of Beecher Street
Date: August 1, 2016 (BC Day)
Time: 6:30pm
Itinerary:
6:30 pm: Meet at the foot of Beecher Street

The Capturing Crescent Beach Instameet is a wonderful opportunity to meet local photographers, have a little fun, and show the rest of Beautiful British Columbia your True Surrey. The only thing we ask is that you use the hashtags #ExploreBCDay and #TrueSurrey in your captions!
