The countdown to Surrey’s annual celebration for Canada Day on July 1st is quickly approaching! The Bill Reid Amphitheatre in Cloverdale is finishing preparation. Even more exciting, entrance to the festivities are completely FREE! Keep reading to find out how Surrey Canada Day is expected to be one of the largest Canada Day events in Western Canada, and why the entire family is sure to have an amazing day! 

The festivities kick off at 10am on Monday July 1st and go all day until a spectacular fireworks show caps it all off!   

Surrey’s Canada Day festival has A LOT going on. Whether you’ve got a junior Canuck, or you’ve celebrated many Canada Days in your time, there’s an activity to peak your interest. From amusement rides to skateboard demosfood trucks to Strawberry Teas, there’s a little something for everyone, and we’re here to make sure to get in on all that good-Canadian-fun!

Headlined by Canadian band, Our Lady Peace, and Bif Naked, there is sure to be a performer for everyone! There are three different stages that will be home to over 20 different performing acts scheduled throughout the day ranging from dance troupes to vocal performances. 

Along with the breadth of expected performances, Surrey Canada Day will also feature amusement rides from Shooting Star Amusement. They will return with fan favourites like the Zipper, the Tilt A Whirl, Zero Gravity and many more! They will have bouncy castles and rides for children as well. 

The event will also feature the Indigenous Village with carving demonstrations, a Metis Museum, other artist demonstrations and much more!

There will be a variety of vendors including food trucks and giveaways. Some exciting activities include a Sports Zone, a country-themed Cloverdale Rodeo zone, a skateboarding demo event, and the annual tea and strawberry cake event for seniors! 

Surrey Canada Day will finally end with a large display of fireworks around 10:30pm!
