Santa Claus is coming to Surrey … and he’s arriving in style!
The beloved Surrey Santa Parade of Lights marks it’s 14th anniversary this year and promises even more lighted floats! Get there early and stake out a spot along the parade route, then get ready for a traditional (with a twist) Santa Parade through Cloverdale. The traditional parade has everything you love about a parade, floats, marching bands, antique vehicles and horses, but the big event is Big Rigs for Kids! This amazing lighted Truck Parade was inspired the 1997 Coca Cola lighted truck commercial and is a sight to be seen! The Big Rigs for Kids will lead the parade and then they will convoy to City Hall Plaza (13450 104 Avenue) where they’ll sit on display, and all lit up, until 8:00 pm. The Surrey Food Bank and Surrey Christmas Bureau will be on hand to accept donations of food, toys and cash.
The Surrey Santa Parade of Lights starts at 5 pm precisely at the corner of 176A Street and 60th Avenue and heads east to 177B Street.
